With deep roots stretching back over 125 years in Presidio County, Texas, Sam Stephens brings a lifetime of experience, insight, and respect for the land. Raised in the heart of a multigenerational cattle ranching family, Sam understands that success in agriculture—and in life—begins with the right piece of ground and a strong connection to the outdoors.

A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Sam earned his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics in 1996. He launched his career managing long-term tree crops with a farm management firm in Tyler, Texas, gaining valuable hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture. From there, he transitioned into rural lending as a loan officer at Heritage Land Bank in Palestine, where he helped farmers and ranchers access the capital they needed to grow.

Drawn back to his West Texas roots, Sam moved his family to Midland and spent the next 25 years building a successful career in the oil and gas service industry. Midland proved to be a wonderful place to raise a family, and today—with their children grown—Sam and his wife, Brandi, are proud to call Taylor County home.

Now with Trinity Ranch Land, Sam brings together a unique blend of agricultural heritage, financial know-how, and a passion for helping others.
